6th International Conclave of Orthopedic Fraternity ( ORTHOTRENDS) concluded in Ahmedabad

Faculties from USA, Australia, France, Pennsylvania, Republic of Korea and various States of India deliberated on various topics of Orthopedics and Joint replacement. 500 doctors including delegates from Kenya, Ethiopia, Malawi, Ghana, Panama, Uzbekistan, Nepal, Bangladesh and India attended the meet. Orthotrends- 2019, the 6th edition of an International Conclave of the Orthopedic fraternity , a two day annual meet, was held in Ahmedabad on 5th & 6th October, 2019 with the theme “ Taking Arthroplasty a Step Ahead”. Shalby Jabalpur Performs Successful Radical Cystectomy On A Cardiac Compromised Patient

Radical Cystectomy is the procedure of removing entire urinary bladder and surrounding lymph nodes and the defect is reconstructed using a segment of intestine & urine pipe with that segment of the intestine. This is an extensive surgery required for advanced bladder cancer. Shalby Hospitals, Jabalpur took up such a challenging case and that too with compromised cardiac state with cardiac dysfunction & low ejection fraction (ef 25%). Our Surgical team comprising; Dr. Rajesh Patel, Director of Urology Department & Dr. Jeetendar Paryani, Consultant Onco Surgeon, successfully performed the surgery.
